Continuing Education Courses and Opportunities

Continuing Education Center

Continuing education opportunities also help you learn more about our company and product offerings, as well as identify architectural applications for our systems within the industries you serve. Select courses cover the history of door types and keep you current on special applications, testing procedures, codes and regulations.

Should you have any other questions pertaining to product specifications, please contact our Technical Support Group at 1-800-275-6187.

The American Institute of Architects and several other well-respected professional organizations require their members to stay abreast of new developments within their field by emphasizing learning and participation in professional continuing education activities. Continuing education enables these professionals to keep current, master new knowledge and skills, plan for the future, and responsibly meet the role society entrusts to them as professionals.

Overhead Door Corporation values this commitment to continued professional growth. We have created continuing education courses on topics related to our industry in an effort to help engage and inform professionals across the architecture and construction industries.

Lunch & Learn

Whether you are a sole practitioner or the senior partner at a large firm, call today to schedule one of our "lunch and learn" onsite training sessions. One of our professional and knowledgeable staff members will be happy to come to your site, provide lunch, and present an AIA registered course to your team on a topic of your selection. Our course offering includes Windload Doors Systems, Commercial Sectional Door Systems, and Rolling Door Systems. Each course qualifies for one hour of continuing education and includes one HSW credit. Request an onsite Lunch-and-Learn continuing education session or to suggest a new course topic

Online Continuing Education Coursework

As a busy professional it is often times difficult to step away from the office for continuing education sessions. As a result, we have created several one-hour, on-demand courses which allow you to stop and start at your leisure. These courses cover the same quality material as our onsite “lunch and learn” sessions and are registered with the AIA. Each course qualifies for one hour of continuing education and includes one HSW credit. These courses are hosted by AEC Daily and McGraw Hill. You may also access these courses through our Architect’s Corner.
