Fire Minuteman is a UL listed and FM approved chain reset hoist for use with Overhead Door Corporation's rolling steel fire doors. The Fire Minuteman is designed to eliminate the need to release a fire door's spring tension on fire drop mode and allows one person to reset the door from the floor. Used in a unique combination with the Fire Sentinel®, reset can be accomplished on an alarmed system without the aid of a ladder, special tools or a technician.

  • Spur gears for gear reduction in standard mode
  • Break adjustment to control the manual operation of the door
  • Release arm to put the door in fire drop mode
  • Governor to control the speed of closure in fire drop mode

  • Test and reset remote test key switch
  • Floor level test and reset lever on fuse link systems
  • Combination with the Fire Sentinel® for alarmed systems; comes with floor level reset handle
