In this segment, Sits and Courtney gave the television audience a real life example of how the
OHD Anywhere™ works. One monitor showed the app and how it functions while another monitor showed a live video feed of Sit’s garage door from a camera crew out front of his Vineyard area home.
Before Sits gave a demonstration of opening the garage door from his phone, Courtney gets the rest of the Good Day Sacramento team involved to play a little game as she asks, “What’s behind door number 1?” During the demonstration, Sits was able to illustrate how to open a garage door from his phone and how to easily select from multiple doors.
Once activated the app displayed that the garage door was opening. Sits explained that there is a little bit of a delay as the device attached to your garage door system gives a beep to notify anyone around the garage that the door is opening. This safety feature lets others know that the garage door was activated by the OHD Anywhere™ App.
The OHD Anywhere™ has many features to help make your life easier while keeping your garage door safe and secure, like Door Position Sensors that monitor the actual garage door position instead of just monitoring the opener, and the ability to access reports with helpful security information including when the dates and times your garage door was used.
Sits also celebrated the 95th anniversary of Overhead Door by providing a few lucky callers with OHD Anywhere™ devices for 95% off.
