Renovator, DIYer and Instagram Content Creator Brittany Echols turns to the
Overhead Door™ Brand to help complete her home’s curb appeal with Thermacore® Model 5740

When it came time for Arizona-based renovator, DIYer and Instagram content creator Brittany Echols (Sunshine and Shiplap) to upgrade her home’s exterior, she knew she wanted a garage door that had the look of real wood, but provided more insulation to withstand the hot weather. Echols turned to Overhead Door™ Brand to help her amp up her new home’s curb appeal while documenting the entire process for her followers who actively track her projects and the products she recommends.

Echols selected a Thermacore® Model 5740 garage door with a Mission Oak finish that perfectly complements the rest of the house's exterior. The door was complete with a vertical long panel design, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to the overall look. Model 5740 is built to last with two layers of corrosion-resistant steel and offers maximum, high-quality insulation.

With the addition of the Thermacore® door’s embossed wood-grain texture, Echols was able to achieve the warm and inviting look of real wood that she desired without sacrificing thermal efficiency or durability.

“I am so in love with our new garage door! From start to finish, the installation was a simple and streamlined process. Using the Overhead Door Brand’s™ DoorView App, Echols custom-designed her dream door using a real photo of her home to fully visualize her home’s exterior. The custom-designed windows, stacked and placed to the left of the door with the Solar Bronze glass tint, add to the door's aesthetic appeal while also allowing natural light to filter into the garage.
