Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Choose a Door Size & Home Image to Get Started

  • Select a Door Size: Start by choosing a door size from popular measurements. Typically, 7ft high will have 3 panels and 8ft high will have 4 panels.
  • Preset Homes: After selecting a door size, the tool will display homes that can accommodate your selected size. Browse through these to find one that best matches your style.
  • Your Own: If you can't find a house you like or prefer to visualize the door on your own home, you can upload an image of your house to use in the visualization.

Step 2: Door Collection

Choose a door collection that fits your aesthetic preference and functionality needs. Each collection features different styles and materials.

Step 3: Door Model

Select a specific model within the chosen collection. Models vary by design details and features.

Step 4: Door Color

Pick a color from the available options to match or complement your home's exterior.
Based on the collection you chose; you may have the option to choose Trim Color that will frame your door beautifully and enhance its design.

Step 6: Window Style

If applicable, select a window style that can add a unique look and let natural light into your garage.

Step 7: Window Glass

Choose the type of glass for the door windows, considering privacy and aesthetics. Tempered glass: Considered a type of safety glass, if this material breaks it’s safer and easier to clean up.

  • Standard single glass pane: The most cost-effective type is a single pane of glass.
  • Double pane: These window inserts provide some insulation and come in a variety of different types.
  • Tinted glass: This type of glass can come in various thicknesses and colors like shades of greens, blues or grays.
  • Frosted glass: Has a misty look and offers increased privacy.
  • Patterned glass: Another option for improved privacy is patterned glass, which can come in many different patterns to suit the exterior of your home.
  • Mirrored glass: This type of glass reflects the outside during the day, creating privacy while bringing in natural light. At night, however, the mirrored glass loses its reflection and becomes completely opaque.

Based on the collection you chose; you may have the option to choose a Window Trim Color that complements the overall door design.

Step 8: Lift Handles/Pull Handles/Hinges

  • Lift handles are both functional and decorative. Select a style that matches your door's design.
  • Pull handles are crucial for manual operation and can also enhance the door’s appearance.
  • Hinges complement the door's style while ensuring functionality.
