2018 National Ribbon Distributor Meeting

An Unforgettable Weekend

Nearly 800 people traveled to Boca Raton, Florida for this year’s National Ribbon Distributor Meeting! Our theme this year was GO BIG with BIG standing for Businesses Investing for Growth. From the product showcase featuring our newest products to the educational sessions covering tools to take back to their business, it was a fun yet informative weekend for the Overhead Door™ Brand’s valued distributors.

Welcome Reception

On the first night, a welcome reception was held for our attendees at the Waldorf Astoria Resort. It is because of our network of more than 400 Overhead Door™ Distributors that our brand has been able to develop and maintain a reputation for honest, respected and expert service.

Opening General Session

Leaders from across Overhead Door Corporation officially kicked-off the event with a recap of how the Overhead Door™ brand has made BIG investments in product, people, and technology to help our Distributors GO BIG in their markets. The investments are not done, and the Overhead Door™ brand and our distributors are set for continued growth in the future.

Product Showcase and Educational Sessions

The highly-anticipated product showcase gives our Overhead Door™ Distributors a chance to see the latest products hitting the market. Attendees connected with product managers, product engineers, vendors and the Overhead Door™ Brand marketing team to learn about the solutions that will continue to pioneer the industry, and won a few prizes along the way. The event’s educational sessions covered the new processes and systems from Project Everest, brand and digital marketing, best practices on labor productivity, and solutions selling.

One of the most gratifying parts of our annual event is recognizing the hard work and dedication that Overhead Door™ Distributors put forth daily. A big congratulations to all the 2017 Eagle Award winners for achieving their annual sales goals and demonstrating superior customer service.

We always like to close our National Ribbon Distributor Meetings with a bang, and 2018 was no exception. From the clap line and ice sculpture to the dance party and fireworks, we brought the house down in Florida and had a fitting finale for such a BIG event.
