Overhead Door™ Brand Expands Comprehensive Dock and Door Solutions

Revolutionizing industry standards for safety, durability and efficiency

Dallas, TX – August 1, 2024 – Overhead Door™ Brand, the leading manufacturer in residential and commercial door solutions, now offers Mechanical Pit Leveler models with dimensions that service the majority of the industry, alongside the new Sectional Warehouse Steel 400 Series. This expansion is part of Overhead Door™ Brand’s broader initiative to provide comprehensive dock and door solutions under one trusted brand.

The new Mechanical Pit Leveler model, M78R, comes in sizes of 7’ wide by 8’ long, with weight capacities ranging from 30K to 45K. The original M68R levelers, which come in sizes of 6’ wide by 8’ long and weight capacities of 35K and 45K, also received an upgrade, now featuring weight capacities of 30K and 40K. These models also offer 18” and 20” lip options, providing flexibility for various dock configurations. Additionally, the Mechanical Pit Levelers come with an impressive 24-month warranty when purchased and installed with an Overhead Door™ Brand door.

Key features of the enhanced Mechanical Pit Levelers include Topside Height Adjusters for quick and safe leveling, Pre-Cut Weld Locations that simplify installation and eliminate the need for shimming or welding at the rear of the pit, and stronger fillet welds, which reduce the risk of broken pit welds. Additionally, the levelers are coated with a proprietary powder coat finish that improves traction and slip resistance, even when wet. This environmentally friendly finish contains fewer volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and meets stringent ANSI MH 30.1 specifications. Together, these features ensure durability, ease of use, simple installation and enhanced safety in dock equipment applications.

In addition to the Mechanical Pit Levelers, Overhead Door™ Brand’s Sectional Steel Warehouse 400 Series, which offers both insulated (Models 402/404/406) and non-insulated (Models 401/403/405) options, is meticulously engineered to meet the needs of demanding commercial environments. This series features robust construction with self-forming rivets, a strong tongue-and-groove design and specialized tracks for enhanced strength and ease of installation. The doors are available in various gauges and finishes, including White or Brown Smooth and White or Brown Stucco and Embossed. Optional insulation is also offered, providing an R-value* of 7.64 for improved energy efficiency and environmental control.
